Brand Perception describes how customers, partners, employees, investors, and the broader market interpret and evaluate an organization's identity, reputation, credibility, and overall value. Unlike brand identity, which is created internally, Brand Perception exists entirely within the minds of external audiences and develops through every interaction with the organization.


Perception is influenced by numerous factors including product quality, customer service, pricing, marketing communications, online reviews, public relations, corporate behavior, and word-of-mouth recommendations. Because perception is shaped by experience rather than intention, organizations cannot control it directly. They can only influence it through consistent actions over time.


Brand Perception evolves continuously as customers accumulate new experiences and compare the organization against competitors operating within the same market.
