Definition
Organizational Learning is the process through which an organization continuously acquires, shares, applies, and refines knowledge in order to improve future performance. Unlike individual learning, Organizational Learning ensures that experience becomes embedded within systems, processes, governance, culture, and collective decision-making rather than remaining solely with individual employees.
Learning occurs through multiple mechanisms including research, experimentation, project reviews, customer feedback, operational experience, performance measurement, strategic reflection, and knowledge sharing. Organizations that learn effectively identify successful practices, recognize recurring mistakes, and continuously improve their ability to respond to changing business environments.
